 - ERA Conference on Recent Developments in European Environmental Law– This conference organized by the Accademy of European Law (ERA) will take place on 29 & 30 May 2008 at Trier. It is aimed at auditors, consultants and in-house counsel in the environmental sector, civil servants in environmental agencies, lawyers in private practice as well as academics. Recent development in European environmental law will be dealt with, primarily by analysis of recent case law of the European Court of Justice as well as activities of other EU institutions in the environmental law field. Climate change and Directive 2003/87/EC on green house gas emissions trading, the new environmental liability directive and the Aarhus Convention are some of the topics that will be examined.
