Selection Process
Only shortlisted applicants are contacted and requested to submit a short essay or case study for the final competitive selection. Once the selected candidate has accepted the Environmental Law Programme’s (ELP) offer, and before commencing the internship, it is required to complete fifty percent of the Diploma Course in International Environmental Law. The Course is comprised of 10 modules; substantive details can be found under the ‘Courses’ section of this website. The remainder of the Course will be completed during the first month of the internship. Upon successful completion of the Diploma Course, the intern will be entitled to receive UNITAR’s Diploma in International Environmental Law.
